Absolutely! Our trips are open to first-time travelers and travel veterans alike. We craft our trips in detail and can assist you every step of the way. You’ll be given an abundance of information, including destination info, travel tips, packing list, and restaurant and free-time recommendations. As always, you will also have your expert host and local guides with you during the entire trip!

All attendees are required to submit an extensive questionnaire that helps us get to know you and pair roommates. We take into account sleeping habits, travel preferences, tidiness, personality, hobbies and interests to choose your roommate. We also open our Instagram group chat if you prefer to find a roommate with someone you vibe with on your own. If you prefer to be solo, single rooms are an additional fee & subject to availability.

Yes, you can absolutely do things on your own. We have scheduled free time in every destination and provide you with a list of suggestions for activities. You’re welcome to explore on your own or opt in with the group for an optional free time activity.

Come solo or bring a friend – it’s completely up to you! Our group trips are specifically designed to connect travelers so that you no longer have to wait on friends to travel. We typically find that at least 90% of the group attends solo.

In our trips, we handle your accommodations, hotels, airport transfers, curated activities, selected meals, and more to ensure you have a stress-free experience. Each experience is designed to ensure everything is handled from the moment you land till you head back home

We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences.

We’ll always do our best to accommodate diets, allergies, and dietary restrictions, just make sure to let us know. Prior to your arrival, we will send out an inquiry form to gather all the necessary information to prepare for your trip.

Arrive on the 10th no later than 2pm so you have time to settle in and check into the hotel before our 6pm Welcome Dinner

Check-out is at 12 p.m on the 17th. You’ll be able to keep your luggage at the hotel if your flight is later in the day on the day of check out, but everyone must check out by noon.

Great question! Paying in full locks in the lowest possible price for the trip — $4,250. The payment plan spreads that cost into smaller, more manageable payments over 8 months, and includes a modest premium ($300) to reflect that flexibility. If you're able to pay in full, that's always the better deal — the payment plan is simply there so the trip stays accessible for those who'd rather budget it out over time.

Within 14 days of your deposit, you may cancel for a full refund, no questions asked.

After that 14-day window, all deposits and payments made are non-refundable under any circumstances. This is because, once your spot is confirmed, we begin making non-recoverable payments on your behalf to our hotels, guides, and excursion partners in Japan.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with a "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) upgrade, which can reimburse a portion of your trip cost (typically 50-80%) if you need to cancel for a reason outside our policy. Important: CFAR coverage must generally be purchased within 14-21 days of your deposit, so we recommend securing it right away — ideally within that same window.
